Clean amvo virus from pen drives!

I’m sure most of the college guys use their pen drives/ USB hard drives, etc. to transfer movies, videos, etc. across different PCs running on MS Windows. A common problem they face is of viruses which travels fast and easy. One of them is the amvo or apvo virus which has symptoms of creating an “autorun.exe” for drives and disabling “view hidden files and folders option”. It also slows down the copying rate to and from USB drives.
I’ve seen people formatting their OS, using the restoration disk, downloading antivirus softwares and then their cracks.

Excellent script. does the job where even kaspersky doesn’t .. if you have been struggling for the past day or so to learn how to get rid of this virus.. look no furthur..

When I open a folder on my laptop, a msg pops up “some dangerous virus detected Click ‘ok’ to download antispyware” I will say NO and the browser opens to http://www.sc.openfreeonline.com; is this a worm? I have tried removing it with Norton 360, Spyware Doctor and praval’s script to no avail. Pls, wht should I do?

well now i’ve got a new problem… whenever i open a new window or folder, it is supposed to open within the same widow but now its opening a new window for everything .. I end up opening lot of windows.. i’m sure its a virus.. need assistance please!
