Twitter started off with “What are you doing?” display concept. It has now grown to be much more than what it was eventually built for! People now chat over it asking questions within their network, either directly or with a group of people. I thought gtalk and other IMs would replace general way of communication, that’s probably the email which started off with hotmail.com by Sabeer bhatia, several years ago.

People now find it easy to use @username to communicate, effectively. Strange!
